The FoodEtica Association, which for years has been involved in the promotion and dissemination of an ethical approach to the table and the environment, has selected 12 of the wineries in the Pordenone area that stand out most for the beauty of the places where they are located and their production characteristics to organize new tasting experiences.

The goal of the “Experientia Vitae” is to engage enthusiasts and their five senses through a nature walk, listening to the wind and birds between the rows of vines, the sight of enchanting views, and the taste and smell activated through tastings of the wines and flavors of the area. Each winery creates a different sensory experience, made unique by the different landscapes, history, and wine productions.

The experience planned by Monica Vettor will be workshop-based: the walk through the vineyards will be used to collect wildflowers and shrubs. Upon returning to the winery, under the guidance of an expert, each participant will make their own centerpiece of wildflowers they will then take home.
They will be able to taste Prosecco Rosè DOC Millesimato and Pinot Grigio Friuli Grave DOC, paired with a selection of local food products.

Program for the day on Saturday, August 27:

9:30 a.m.: arrival and reception of participants
10 am: tour of the winery to discover the peculiarities of the place and walk through the vineyards
12 noon: arrival at the tasting room, sensory analysis of the wines by Monica Vettor and delivery of the FoodEtica chalice
