Pordenonelegge, whose first edition dates back to 2000, hosted in the city of Pordenone, is one of the most prestigious cultural events in the region and all lovers of literature and art. From 14 to 18 September, the historic center will become the stage for numerous authors invited to share their works and dialogue with the public on the theme of regeneration, represented this year by an ear of wheat.
Pordenonelegge does not shy away from debate and confrontation but binds its simplest vocation – talking about books with one’s authors – to that value of participation built up over the years with readers and citizens.
Among the protagonists of the festival, this year there will also be the Donne del Vino Fvg, the regional delegation of the Association which also includes Monica Vettor, who will present the Pinot Grigio Friuli Grave DOC at the end of the meeting with Gian Piero Piretto, author of the book “Eggs Benedict in Manhattan. Ricette metropolitane di un professore non ordinario“, published by Raffaello Cortina Editore.
The presentation and tasting will take place on Saturday 17 September, at 6:30 pm, at the Convent of San Francesco.
