The identity of wines

On Thursday, June 16, the gardens of Monica Vettor’s winery, in the heart of San Quirino, will be the setting for an all-female tasting event: from the wines to the food and wine products, from the organization to the service.

“Feminine Bubbles” is the title of this evening, the brainchild of Monica Vettor and Luana Bottacin, Sommelier and Doctor of Food Science who strongly believe in the feminine force in the world of wine, capable of transmitting and sharing history, experience, skills, and research and, sometimes, a bit of madness.

During the tasting, the sparkling and semi-sparkling wines of a number of Women producers from the Friuli and Veneto regions who have been able to encapsulate their territory, history, and personality in the bubbles they produce will be presented. Different grape varieties or produced with slightly different winemaking techniques from each other, but all female bubbles!

Each producer will have the opportunity to present her own wine, while Sommelier Luana Bottacin will accompany guests in the tasting guide and presentation of the paired dishes, curated by Chef Marina Piccinato of Cooking Passion, and the gastronomic products of some of the producers.
