The sea has a fundamental influence on the vine that is perceived in the glass.
During the evening, we will taste 4 wines from local grape varieties that grow in the most beautiful Italian vineyards overlooking the sea.
We will discover how terroir influences them organoleptically and dispel myths and legends about aging at the bottom of the sea, tasting one of the most renowned Italian wines resting at the bottom of the waters of Portofino.
The tasting will accompany gastronomic fish pairings, prepared by Fior di Sale delicatessen.
Wines for tasting:
• Vermentino di Sardegna DOC “Orriu un anno dopo”, Quartomoro di Sardegna (Sardegna)
• Salina Bianco IGT “Bianco M”, Eolia (Isole Eolie, Sicilia)
• Calabria Rosato IGP “Celeste”, Cantine Benvenuto (Calabria)
• Spumante Metodo Classico Brut “Abissi” 2018, Bisson (Liguria)
As usual, there will be welcome and closing surprises for the evening.
