APPELLATION: IGT VENEZIA GIULIA
VARIETY: Merlot from 80-year-old vines, grown at 60 m a.s.l.
PRODUCTION AREA: Municipality of Cordenons (PN), Upper Pordenone Plain.
SOIL: Sandy-loam with abundant gravel.

VINIFICATION & AGING: Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and left intact. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 27°C, with maceration lasting about 20–25 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs in 225-liter French oak barriques, where the wine then matures for a further 24 months before bottling.

TASTING NOTES: Brilliant ruby red with garnet highlights. The bouquet is intense, with aromas of plum and cherry, enriched by floral notes—an expression of extraordinary finesse. On the palate, it is rich, refined, and well-balanced, with long persistence and great personality. Perfectly paired with red meats.
