APPELLATION: Venezia Giulia IGT
GRAPE VARIETY: Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from old Friulian Sauvignon clones. Vineyard planted in 2022.
PRODUCTION AREA: located at 150 m above sea level in the high plain of Pordenone, in the Magredi, on the edge of the Cellina stream
SOIL: Alluvial, gravelly-pebbly soil with a limestone-dolomitic composition.
TRAINING SYSTEM: Guyot.

VINIFICATION AND AGEING: The grapes are transported to the winery at a temperature of approximately 2°C. After destemming, the grapes are gently crushed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 14°C and 16°C. The wine is then bottled and aged for three months.

TASTING NOTES: Straw-yellow in colour. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of exotic fruits, citrus notes, and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is fresh, savoury, and well-balanced, with pleasant minerality and a long, persistent finish. An excellent match for aperitifs, fish dishes, shellfish, and Asian cuisine.

HARVEST:

Hand-harvested in small crates.

ALCOHOL CONTENT:

12.5% vol.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:

8–10°C.
